Ms.Cum awesome presentation on Alice Paul

On October 20, 2010 we had the honor of meeting Ms.Crum,  a women who worked for the National Women's Party. Ms.Crum first gave us a brief history about Alice Paule and what she been through in are classroom and then Ms.Crum took us to the first National Part's Headquarters which was down the street from the capital.

The new facts that we have learned about Alice Paul was that she has been to jail before for a cause. she went to jail because of protesting and even have done a hunger strike.  Alice Paul also got numerous degrees such as her undergraduate form Swarthorne college and PHD from the U university of Pennsylvania. We also learned that she died of old age instead of any other disease. Alice Paul used her experiences to further women rights by talking about how they treated women in jail and out of jail. We thought Sewall-Belmont House was very interesting and statically smart because the house is down the street from the capital and the artefactual design look like it was in the 18th century. We think Alice Paul is a great fit for are class because just like are class she work hard and doesn't stop until she get the job done.
