The Big Day in The SHMS Court

Today Judge Sandra Day O' Connor came in our class to talk to us. She was the first women Supreme Court justice. We asked her questions about her life as a Supreme court justice member and life as a women. We learned that you have to read really fast. We also learned that in order to be a judge you have to love to read because you read about 1000 pages a day and you must like to think. If you want to have the job of your chose you must work hard, study, and think. The experience we had today was exciting, awesome, and interesting.

She was born on March 26,1930 in El Paso Texas. She attended Standford University. She received her B.A. in economics in 1950.She shows that women can have the brains and the power just like men.She made a nice history for a women. She did a lot for America. We appreciate what she has done. We just can't believe what she has done.
